As someone who grew up in a predominantly Orthodox Christian country, I have always been fascinated by the differences in the way we celebrate religious holidays. One of the most notable differences is the date of Orthodox Easter. While it may coincide with Western Easter some years, Orthodox Easter is usually celebrated on a different date, based on the Julian calendar.
